Add Files From External Playlist

Mezzmo can import the media files from your playlist files. Mezzmo supports the following playlist file formats:

.PLS - common format; widely supported
.M3U - common format; widely supported
.WPL - from Windows Media Player
.ZPL - from Zune players

Add Files From External Playlist dialog

To import the media files from one of your playlist files, click the Insert/Add Files From External Playlist menu item or click Add To Library → Add Files From External Playlist and choose the playlist file on your computer. The playlist file is opened and all information about the media files is read and added into your Mezzmo library.

Tip: This dialog will extract the media files from the playlist file and add them into your Mezzmo library one time. It will not read from the playlist file again. If you wish to dynamically load the contents of a playlist file whenever it changes, then you should use Linked Playlists in Mezzmo.
